What is GPS?

What is GPS? NO, it is not Global Positioning System! It is God's Plan for Sharing! If you are trying to find a geographical location it is Global Positioning System. However, this acronym has been taken over by the Southern Baptist Convention Home Mission Board to identify a program for reaching into the communities in America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The need for sharing Jesus Christ with the communities is great throughout our nation. This blog is established with the prayer and hope that in the surrounding communities in the Mountain Baptist Association we can come together in this effort.

The New Mexican Baptist paper list ten steps for achieving the goal of saturating the communities with the gospel. The first step is prayer. What do you think? Is prayer the first step, or should there be another step or two before that?

This is my first attempt at blogging and there will surely be many mistakes in the up-coming days. But we must start somewhere at sometime. So, let's come together in communicating with one another in this effort. Share with us what you know and think about GPS, and what you might be doing to share Christ with your community.
